Affordability is definitely key as is the need to dispel the myth that you need 12 hours of sunshine a day to get any benefits. In todays climate, both political and envirimental, it would be wise not to be totally dependant on the normal infrastrucure for our power needs.

Personally I think it would be great if the government stepped in and offered everyone a free guide on how to build their own solar panels. There should also be financial incentives offered to homes that power at least some of their appliance from solar power. Rebates should be offered for any costs incurred in building your solar panels. This is a project you could get your children involved in. So that when they get their own homes they would also install a form of solar power unit. Using the sun and wind around your home to power your home should be promoted and encouraged from a government state level.

This totally makes sense. With such an unbelieveable source of energy as the sun. It is only natural to take full advantage of this wonderful gift. Wasting our natural resuorces on other forms of energy Without fully making use of this inexhaustable source is not the right thing to do. Renewable sources should be used anywhere we can so we can save something for our children and their children. Great info thank you.
